The Magpie opened its doors almost 4 years ago when Beth Aten and Paula Swett decided to come down from their perch, a second floor studio above the current location at 400 Market Street in Lewisburg. They planned to exhibit their large art quilts for the holiday season but the month of December somehow turned into four years.

Today, The Magpie is home to over 120 regional artists who create jewelry, metal works, clay works, furniture, glass, photography and a long list of other unique items.

Jo Hurst, Barb Allison, Chris Mallula, Frenni Aungst, Ruby Shepley and Cathy Stechshulte continue to serve as the gregarious and helpful staff at our gallery shop. Whatever the occasion they can help you find the right piece of art for you, your home or your office.

Often when you visit, you will be able to meet the actual artists who create the stunning artwork featured in the Magpie. These artists can often create custom pieces to suit your very specific needs
